As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for your site and will be responsible for working closely with the business and fellow engineers to implement and maintain critical infrastructure elements as well as day-to-day support to meet our operation's present and future business needs. Besides your day-to-day activities, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in projects and innovate. You will be a key part of a multinational team that thrives in delivering high-quality results and always be on the lookout for improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT infrastructure and ensure it meets performance targets and service agreements.
- Lead projects to implement new technologies and support changing business needs.
- Supervise and manage a team of IT technicians.
- Perform IT audits and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external partners.
- Manage and provide technical input to projects.
- Provide excellent technical support to a wide range of users.
- Travel up to 25% of the monthly working days.
What you'll need:
- Experience in Linux/Unix, Windows system support, and networking (LAN/WAN/Wireless).
- Strong understanding of core internet technologies (Routing, Switching, DNS, etc.).
- Experience supervising a team and leading technical projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
