Information Technology Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing technical support to users and resolving issues related to IT systems, applications, and devices. Ensures the efficient and effective operation of these systems, applications, and devices, while maintaining and periodically updating them.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:
   Establish communication channels with all departments to provide necessary support.
   Provide technical support via phone, email, live chat, or personal visits to all company employees, ensuring the efficiency and functionality of all systems, applications, and devices.
   Troubleshoot IT system, application, and device issues.
2. IT Infrastructure:
   Install and operate IT systems and devices.
   Perform updates and regular maintenance for all systems and devices, addressing technical issues.
   Monitor system and device performance, reporting any malfunctions that may cause disruptions.
   Prepare and continuously develop user manuals and train employees on available technologies.
   Track software license expirations and report their renewal dates.
   Continuously develop and improve IT systems, preparing periodic test reports and notifying management with proposed solutions and recommendations.
3. Data Protection:
   Conduct regular data server backups and securely archive them for retrieval when needed.
   Monitor the equipment room, ensuring compliance with security and safety standards.
   Design and document all security policies related to IT hardware and software.
   Conduct periodic tests on systems and devices.
4. Automation and Document Management:
   Convert documents into electronic copies.
   Manage the archive and provide required support to departments following company policies.
   Manage the company’s internal network, public communication channels, websites, applications, and emails.
5. Electronic Device Warehouse Management:
   Maintain the electronic device warehouse and ensure proper storage.
   Prepare periodic reports and inform the department manager of warehouse updates.
   Generate periodic reports on tasks and device status.

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• 6+ months experience.
• IT hardware infrastructure knowledge.
• Understanding of security systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
