Information Technology Expert

Position Objective:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Expert. The role aims to ensure effective data management by establishing and enforcing robust policies, implementing secure and efficient data handling procedures, and leveraging business intelligence for strategic decision-making. The position requires a deep understanding of databases, data analysis methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques to maintain data integrity and accuracy. Additionally, the role is responsible for developing insightful dashboards and analytical reports to support business objectives, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Coordinates between the program and the IT-related departments on the development of the program dashboard and its components
• Provides advice about potential fixes or efficiency controls for any IT issues that might arise.
• Develops reports using expert-level skills in Power BI, SQL, Access, Excel, and other data manipulation tools.
• Analysis and investigation of complex reporting requirements.
• Works with project management, and business development teams to design, build and document dashboards and reports.
• Communicates status updates in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
• Delivers reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Designs and develops data warehouse systems from internal and external sources for standard self-service reporting.
• Works closely with customers, vendors, peers, and management to verify the accuracy and quality of data.
• Designs, documents, and manages automated reporting and secure data transfers.
• Drives efficiencies through report automation and consolidation.
• Continuously strives to improve accessibility, quality, and accuracy of data analysis and reporting.
• Proactively investigates and identifies reporting improvement opportunities.
• Documents data access procedures and trains users in the access and use of data reporting tools.
• Monitor and analyse information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades ,etc.)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is required
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar function.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (graphing, pivot tables, data manipulation, formulas) & T-SQL.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office apps and Business Intelligence analysis.
• Must have the ability to systematically verify data and perform QA on all deliverables.
• Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
• Data Analyst experience and knowledge of SQL data & Python reporting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language. Knowledge of Arabic will be considered as a plus.
