Information Technology Application Manager

The IT Application Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of business-critical software applications within the organization. This role ensures that all applications align with business needs, function efficiently, and support organizational goals. The IT Application Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to drive system performance, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Application Leadership: Oversee the management and optimization of critical IT applications, ensuring they meet business goals and deliver measurable value. Implement and maintain omnichannel solutions that provide unified customer journeys across digital and physical touchpoints.
• Digital Customer Experience: Lead the design and deployment of solutions to track, personalize, and optimize the digital customer journey. Leverage AI-driven tools to provide tailored, predictive experiences for customers.
• Core Initiatives: Transition to a fully integrated omnichannel IT ecosystem, expand eCommerce platforms, drive system integration with SAP and other critical business applications, deliver data and AI-powered insights, and implement agile business solutions to enhance workforce productivity.
• FMCG-Specific Expertise: Support rapid product rollouts, optimized inventory management, and streamlined supply chain processes through advanced IT solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align IT capabilities with customer engagement strategies.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead a team of IT professionals and external vendors, ensuring successful delivery of projects. Provide training and support to internal stakeholders to maximize the adoption and impact of IT solutions. Partner with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with overall business strategy.
• Business Resilience and Agility: Develop IT strategies that ensure business continuity and minimize operational risks. Deploy flexible, scalable solutions to adapt quickly to market changes and workforce needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in IT application management, with at least 3 years in the FMCG industry.
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing omnichannel solutions and eCommerce platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and integration with third-party applications.
• Strong knowledge of CRM tools, AI-powered analytics, and customer journey mapping.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Google) and scalable IT architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and results.
