Job Summary:

This function involves the overall management and administration of all the company's process activities, including the manufacturing facility's technical and process optimization engineering functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:

1. Coordinate and manage activities concerned with technical developments and technical improvement processes in all the facilities.
2. Manufacturing, Engineering Documentation, Planning and Scheduling, Product qualification, Facility and Operation support.
3. Strong aptitude in manufacturing and operation processes.
4. Ability to work on ideas and improvements.
5. Continuous improvement activities for manufacturing, working with all departments and other business Units.
6. Support manufacturing processes to ensure reliability and production efficiency.
7. Participate in the prototype and production launch of new products from a manufacturing perspective.
8. Review current manufacturing processes, equipment, and capabilities to determine the feasibility and resources required to run proto-types.
9. Design, draft, and document new and existing equipment and products.
10. Revise and control prints and bills of materials for Products.
11. Submit bills of materials for review and costing.
12. Generate quotes.
13. Planned raw materials based on projects, forecasts, lead time, etc.
14. Production scheduling based on resources, capacity, and capability.
15. Resource planning – Manpower, Machinery, and Material Qualification.
16. Prepare reports based on actuals and efficiencies.
17. Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
18. Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
19. Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
20. Work with Quality Assurance and Engineering to provide support to customers regarding product-related opportunities or issues.
21. Interface with Engineering/Product Development to schedule and monitor necessary testing and development support.
22. Create a Bill of Quantities, develop a project budget and time frame, and identify critical elements.
23. Create project timeline and monitor progress reports.
24. Prepare and present project updates to the Management Team.
25. Serve as operation field support for the operation team, including but not limited to technical-based troubleshooting of equipment, modifications of existing equipment, and installation of new equipment.
26. Liaisons between departments for smooth operation.
27. Understand Product and system Code and its implementation.
28. Industrial Statutory and regulatory compliances.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. Flexible, accepting, and responding to multi-task assignments quickly and readily.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and technical-/ project management experience. (Essential)
3. Anticipate to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions, and take appropriate actions.
4. Experience with composites products and equipment a plus.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. (Essential)

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in oil and gas sector.
3. Training in Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems and technologies.
4. Fluent in English, Arabic a plus.
