RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Female Medical Ward, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies and best practices.
Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation for patient care.
Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients admitted to the Female Medical Ward.
Monitor patient care delivery, ensuring the quality of care and patient safety standards are met.
Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for female patients with various medical conditions.
Perform assessments of patients' conditions, develop care plans, and intervene when necessary to improve patient outcomes.
Maintain proper documentation and accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Ensure effective communication between the nursing team, patients, and families, providing education on health conditions and treatment plans.
Manage the budget for the medical ward, ensuring efficient use of resources, supplies, and equipment.
Conduct regular staff evaluations, providing feedback, and identifying opportunities for professional development.
Oversee infection control protocols and ensure compliance with hospital safety regulations and standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Valid Nursing License (SCFHS Preferred) or equivalent Home Country License.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role in a medical ward setting.
Strong clinical experience in managing patients with a variety of medical conditions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a nursing team effectively.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle administrative duties while providing direct patient care.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
