Job Overview: As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within the hotel. Your primary duties will include diagnosing and fixing HVAC issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues, such as leaks, malfunctions, and inefficiencies, in a timely and efficient manner.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems and prevent potential issues.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to HVAC emergencies, providing immediate repairs to minimize disruption to hotel operations and guest services.
Compliance: Ensure all HVAC work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all HVAC activities, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address HVAC needs and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Customer Service: Interact courteously with guests and staff, addressing HVAC-related concerns and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or trade school is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
