Maintenance of window A/C and all types of split AC roof-mounted chillers and associated compressor status with correct periodic preventive maintenance. Air Handling Units primary and secondary filter monitoring and inclined manometer maintenance.
Chilled water pumps plant maintenance and operation, as well as FCU (Fan Coil Unit) maintenance for all areas, with special attention to patient rooms.
Replacing filters, filter bags, oils, and refrigerant.
Diagnosing causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems to identify equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs. Inspecting HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs, and recommend preventive maintenance.
Performing routine and preventive maintenance as needed to ensure the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems. Taking immediate action on any emergency and urgent matters.
Maintaining all push button and manual operations in good condition.
Maintaining good operation of all building elevators for emergency power supply and intercom.
Creating technical reports for all maintenance problems.
Reporting first to the maintenance head for any troubleshooting of all building elevators.
Endorsing to outside companies for any technical problems that require fixing.
Performing troubleshooting on all required equipment and machines related to this job, following instructions given by the Senior HVAC Technician as ordered by the Mechanical Systems Unit Manager.
Maintaining maintenance department tools and safe working practice codes.
Qualifications:
Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning and Ventilation.
Minimum 2 years as an HVAC Technician.
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and controls.
Skill in performing routine manual labor.
Ability to use various hand and power tools common to the trade.
Ability to learn through observation and hands-on experience.
Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.
