Job Purpose:
The Human Factor Training Manager is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address human factors challenges while driving innovation and compliance with aviation industry standards.
Key Accountabilities Functional:
- Human Factors Strategy and Implementation
- Promote a culture of user-centered design across the organization.
- Develop and implement human factors strategies to improve design, workflows, and operational training efficiency.
- Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with human factors methodologies, assessments, and usability evaluation tools.
- Must have a CRMI certificate from an approved training center.
Key Accountabilities Operational:
- Training and Leadership
- Provide training and guidance to teams on human factors principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for human factors within the organization.
- Direct all CRM ground training for FDC, including initial, upgrade, transition, recurrent, and requalification as required.
- Direct all CRM ground training for Flight Dispatchers, Cabin Crew, and Crew Schedulers.
Training and Development:
- Develop training programs tailored to how people learn and interact.
- Develop CRM ground training programs and courseware, procure and maintain training material, develop processes, and maintain sufficient numbers of qualified instructors and training material.
- Promote awareness of human factors principles across the organization.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure trainings and systems meet human factors guidelines, regulatory requirements, and aviation industry standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in human factors research and technologies.
- Maintain records of all training conducted and prepare relevant certificates.
Safety and Risk Mitigation:
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with human error and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Research and Analysis:
- Identify potential human errors and their impact on safety and performance that can help in conducting training.
Generic Responsibilities:

- Mentor and motivate the team to ensure that subordinate(s) have the required knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience to achieve the objectives.
Required Job Specifications:
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
More than 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
Licenses and Certifications:
Certification in Human Factors/Familiarity with safety-critical industries such as aviation.
