HSE Manager

The Client:

Our client is a well-established leader in the food and beverages industry, known for its high standards and commitment to quality. As they continue to grow their operations in Saudi Arabia, they are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to ensure the safety and health of their large manufacturing facilities in Jeddah.

The Role:

As the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure the safety of employees and compliance with regulations. Your expertise will help drive a culture of safety, maintain compliance with industry standards, and ensure safe working environments across large factory operations. The key responsibilities will include:

• Develop, implement, and manage health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Lead the implementation of safety training programs to educate employees on safe practices and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety and environmental regulations, particularly within the food and beverages industry.
• Investigate accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with production and management teams to create safe working conditions and improve safety performance.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, reports, and records to track performance and compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all health and safety concerns within the factory.
• Ensure the timely completion of safety inspections, audits, and reporting to regulatory authorities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a focus on large-scale factories.
• Solid background in the food and beverages industry, understanding its specific safety challenges and regulatory requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and lead safety initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on creating a safety-first culture.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with teams at all levels.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving continuous improvement in safety standards
