We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer with a strong background in the sports sector and government relations for our client . The ideal candidate will manage HR functions such as recruitment, training, payroll, and health and safety, while ensuring compliance with Saudi labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees, particularly in the sports field
Training and Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees
Health and Safety: Develop and maintain health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and fostering a safe work environment
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive workplace culture
Government Relations: Act as a liaison between the organization and government entities to ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and regulations
HR Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with Saudi labor laws and organizational goals
Employee Engagement: Collaborate with management to create and implement employee engagement strategies, enhancing team morale and productivity
Specialized Areas: Depending on organizational needs, focus on specific areas such as employee relations, careers coaching, or health and safety initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
3+ years of experience in an HR role
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software
A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work in a team environment
