Job description

The HR & GR Specialist plays a crucial role in managing human resources and government relations within the catering and hospitality sectors. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations while fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, employee relations, and government liaison, particularly in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  2. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and legal requirements.
  3. Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
  4. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  5. Act as a liaison between the company and government agencies regarding labor and immigration issues.
  6. Handle employee grievances and disputes, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  7. Conduct regular audits of HR processes and policies to identify areas for improvement.
  8. Prepare and present HR reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  9. Support the development of a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR and government relations.

  2. Proven experience in HR management and government relations.

  6. Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  7. Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
