What will this role achieve?

  • The HR Director must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning the HR department and should be able to manage programs and lead the staff with a strategic mindset to ensure that the company’s HR needs are being met and are aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Anticipate all upcoming Admin challenges, laws, and regulations changes and act proactively to assure smooth business continuity.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and ensure a high level of professionalism, customer service, and responsiveness.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Acting as the Primary HRBP to the Saudi GM, and the leadership team, leading the HR agenda that serves the business.
  • Assure all company admin and HR practices are up to date and compliant with Saudi laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health, and safety.
  • Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance, evaluation, training, and development.
  • Anticipate legal risks and proactively work towards solutions.
  • Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics.
  • Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with various public sector entities if and when required.
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
  • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
  • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
  • Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics.
  • In-depth HR experience as an HR Business Partner ideally within FMCG, or complex fast-paced, matrix global organization with demonstrable ability to execute HR agenda aligned to business needs.
  • High proficiency in understanding business needs and curiosity to delve deep to connect HR strategy and its deployment with business priorities.
  • High level senior stakeholder engagement with the ability to effectively influence senior leaders and to flex approach and style to achieve required outcomes.
  • Experience of coaching, challenging, and advising managers, senior leaders underpinned by a collaborative style of working.
  • Supporting organizational transformation, capability building, and working with ambiguity.
  • Deliver cultural and organizational change to contribute to the creation of best-in-class global functions.

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or relevant field experience.
  • Proven HR experience in a leading FMCG company.
  • Experience leading the HR function and team.
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives.
  • Excellent knowledge of Saudi relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Strong customer focus and proven ability of building highly productive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong relationships with HR related regulatory bodies.
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
  • A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element.
  • Ability to use and navigate the HR systems.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.

Desirable

A master’s degree in the field of human resources would be a plus.
