What are my responsibilities?
- Drive implementation of effective P&O programs (e.g. recruiting, people development, compensation & benefits implementation, organizational development, and change), in close cooperation with respective corporate functions.
- Collaborate with regional P&O business partners and other P&O expert teams to ensure alignment between global and local people strategies.
- Responsible for building strong, trusted relationships with the region/country management teams by striking a delicate balance between consulting, advising, challenging, and being a team member.
- Demonstrate leadership for the entire P&O value chain (incl. Operations, Expert Teams, etc.) regardless of reporting relationship.
- Support the optimization of all policies and processes incl. industrial and labor relations practices in the countries.
- Work as an active part of the decision-making process across all facets of the organization (e.g. sales, service, support functions).
- Identify the needs for change management - based on your analysis you are driving discussions related to workforce, organizational, and cultural changes by providing recommendations for necessary improvements and change processes.
- Enable the local business to develop a diverse, robust talent pipeline, focusing strongly on diversity & inclusion initiatives.
- Act as a coach to enable senior executives to be more effective leaders.
- Support the development and communication of local region/country people strategy and its translation into P&O goals and actions.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration or any related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong leadership experience with people and stakeholder management accountability and expertise in leading and influencing larger, diverse, and multidisciplinary groups.
- Ability to build bridges and to integrate as well as coach teams.
- Deep knowledge about the Mobility business or a comparable branch and its strategy. This includes a general understanding of the external world and its implications on the business and people strategy (e.g. industries, markets, customers, P&O, people practice, etc.).
- Experience in successfully aligning the people agenda to the wider business strategy.
- Experience in working closely with senior executives, effectively communicating with them on a range of commercial, strategic, and operational business issues.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- High level of intercultural sensitivity and the ability to deal confidentially and professionally with senior managers in numerous countries.
