About This Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is looking to continue to build their HR career in a successful and growing company. We are expanding our current presence across the Middle East region with some exciting expansion projects in the coming years.
The HR Business Partner will be based out of our Riyadh commercial office and responsible for all HR related duties associated with the full employee lifecycle in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations and compensation.
In this role you are part of the HRBP team for EEMA (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) region and collaborate closely with all HRBPs across EMEA commercial and the wider EMEA HR team (Compensation & Benefits, HR operations, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition). You will report to the HR Director, EEMA who is based in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
In this role, you will
- Work closely with the business to ensure an effective HR Strategy is in place that supports the business goals.
- Partner with regional management and other business stakeholders.
- Provide support to management of employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, restructuring and other key HR areas including performance management, recruitment and Talent Management.
- Support effective implementation of organization-wide initiatives across the Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Support and Total Rewards activities in line with business strategy.
- Support management on comprehensive utilization, completion and promotion of the value of the annual and mid-year Performance Management process.
- Support regional business leaders in meaningful succession planning activities for their area.
- Support the Business Leaders to develop Employee Engagement action plans, providing advice, guidance, and ideas as required.
- Be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of HR data for employees, and provide suitable metrics and analytics to the business.
- Update and develop effective and suitable local relevant HR policies and procedures to implement throughout the region. Provide advice and interpret such policies as appropriate. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the business, HR trends and employment legislation and pro-actively use knowledge to provide excellent customer-focused, value-add, service provision.
- Develop and maintain written resources such as Handbooks, Guides, Newsletters, Policy Documentation, etc.
- Regularly liaise with HRBP in other markets and the wider HR team to share ideas, best practices and ensure the team is working towards common HR and business goals.
- Responsible for the on-site country HR Administration from hire to exit in close collaboration with EMEA HR Operations team.
- Responsible for the onboarding of the employees, including ensuring that all documentation is timely available for compliance, payroll and visa application in close collaboration with EMEA HR Operations team.
In this role, you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Professional working level in English and Arabic.
- 6-10 years of HR generalist experience across the MEA region (mainly from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain).
- Knowledge in Arabic Labor Law.
- Experience in a multi-site, complex and fast-paced commercial environment.
- Demonstrable experience of leading HR projects (specifically on setting up HR framework in a new country/region).
