House Laundry Supervisor

We are seeking an organized and efficient House Laundry Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our laundry facility, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of laundry staff to ensure efficient operations
• Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and laundry chemicals
• Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for all laundered items
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laundry facility
• Train new employees on proper laundry techniques and equipment usage
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on laundry equipment
• Coordinate with other departments to meet the organization's laundry needs
• Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including productivity and costs
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hospitality setting
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of laundry equipment
• Strong knowledge of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and quality control procedures
• Experience with inventory management and staff scheduling
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to laundry operations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality management or laundry operations is preferred
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for laundry and housekeeping
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
