Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hospitality Supervisor to lead and manage the daily operations of our facilities in a prestigious Residential Community. In this role, you will play a crucial part in organizing and overseeing all activities to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience. As a leader and problem solver, you will guide and support our team, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating various functions, implementing efficient processes, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the organization. Excellent communication and organizational skills are vital for effectively liaising with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee front desk operations, housekeeping, food and beverage services and other guest-related functions.
  2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to enhance guest satisfaction, streamline operations, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
  3. Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure quality products and services.
  4. Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints or issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  5. Supervise and manage all aspects of the hospitality department, including front desk operations, reservations, guest services, and housekeeping.
  6. Ensure a high level of customer service by leading and motivating the hospitality team, setting performance expectations, and providing ongoing training and development.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, events, and facilities, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to guests.
  8. Coordinate reservations and optimize occupancy rates, maximizing revenue and maintaining accurate booking records.
  9. Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics, implementing improvement initiatives based on feedback and trends.
  10. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and maintenance of guest rooms and common areas.
  11. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and cost-effective service delivery.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the hospitality field, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance guest experiences.
  13. Manage guest inquiries and concerns, coordinating reservations, optimizing occupancy rates, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the hotel premises.
  14. Hire qualified personnel according to standards.
  15. Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality.
  16. Handle customer complaints when necessary.
  17. Coordinate events with the Client.
  18. Assume responsibility for budgeting and monitoring expenses.
  19. Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards.
  20. Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently. Review and prepare reports for senior management.
  21. Ensure a seamless and exceptional guest service and customer experience.

Requirements and Skills

  1. Proven experience as a Hospitality Supervisor.
  2. BA in Hospitality and Event Planning.
  3. Hotel Management Certificate.
  4. Hands-on experience in customer service or sales.
  5. Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices.
  6. Knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO).
  7. Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g., ERP).
  8. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  9. Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  10. Problem-solving aptitude.
  11. BSc/BA in hospitality management.
