Hospitality Security Manager (Saudi - Only)

Job Summary: The Hospitality Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property within the hospitality establishment. This role involves managing daily security operations, supervising security staff, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Security Operations:
    • Overseeing all security operations within the establishment.
    • Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
    • Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
    • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and compliance with security protocols.
  2. Staff Supervision:
    • Supervise, train, and schedule security staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
    • Provide guidance and support to security personnel, addressing performance issues and ensuring adherence to policies.
    • Conduct regular briefings with the security team to communicate updates and review procedures.
  3. Guest and Employee Safety:
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests, employees, and visitors.
    • Handle guest inquiries and concerns related to security in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a secure environment for events, conferences, and special occasions.
  4. Policy and Procedure Implementation:
    • Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and security.
    • Regularly review and update security protocols to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  5. Incident Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, accidents, and investigations.
    • Maintain accurate records of security activities, including incident logs, visitor logs, and employee badges.
    • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  6. Crisis Management:
    • Developing and executing emergency response plans.
    • Lead the security team in emergency situations, ensuring swift and effective action.
    • Participate in regular emergency drills and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or equivalent; a degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in security management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of security systems and technology.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
