Hospitality Human Resources Manager (KSA)

As a Senior HR Manager in PPG KSA, your role is to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources within the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives. Your primary focus will be on attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining a skilled and motivated workforce within the airport hospitality services sector.

  • Provide smooth and efficient HR operations across KSA Operations (Riyad, Jeddah, Dammam)
  • Manage payroll, absence recording, and holiday recording systems
  • Engage and build strong relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders (Local leadership team, MHRSD, GOSI Authority, Tamheer, immigration and Jawazat, etc.)
  • Partner with business leaders as a subject matter expert for Human Resource Management to contribute to the Saudi Arabia HR and business strategy
  • Localize global standards to local policies and procedures and drive best HR practices
  • Coordinate the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, and reference checks
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork
  • Identify and drive employee development initiatives; partner with HQ Learning and Development on training programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Work closely with Regional Leaders and be familiar with Business Unit leaders and Business Consultants, supporting their career growth
  • Identify current and long-term talent needs and serve as a strategic thought partner to the leadership team
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Respond to all emergency calls that may involve any government agencies
  • Act as a business partner within the EMEA Regional office on HR-related issues
  • Identify and lead change management initiatives, coaching of leaders, resource planning, and implement cyclical activities as per the HR calendar
  • Support project teams globally and locally to implement HR initiatives in line with Regional and Global requirements
  • Report, advise, and collaborate with International teams on in-country governance needs
  • Proactively interpret and communicate HR policies and labour regulations to ensure fair application
  • Undertake workplace investigations and manage the implementation of outcomes
  • Consult and coordinate with Legal/ Licensing /GRO to ensure compliance with labour law
  • Foster a culture that encourages and supports inclusion and diversity
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Maintain and update employee files

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in an airport environment
  • Minimum 7 years of solid experience in sizable establishments
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Well-versed in regional regulatory practices and knowledge of the foreign employment market
  • Self-starter who works well independently and builds strong rapport with internal stakeholders
  • Strong people management skills and ability to build multi-cultural relationships
  • Positive, continuously learning, with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
