Hospital Nurse Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Master’s degree in nursing is a must.
• 7 years of experience in the same field and 3 years experience in the same position.
• Dataflow is a must.
• Saudi license holder is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Job description:

• Hire, train, and develop nursing staff.
• Assign staff to shifts and patient assignments.
• Conduct daily hospital rounds for all units.
• Manage all problems of the nurses in the shift.
• Cover all shortage of the staff in each unit at the beginning of the shift.
• Receive and endorse all the hospital updates to the supervisor of the next shift.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Address disciplinary issues as needed.
• Oversee the delivery of quality patient care, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols.
• Respond to patient concerns and complaints.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Develop and implement department policies and procedures.
• Manage the nursing budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditations.
• Identify areas for improvement in patient care and implement strategies to enhance quality.
• Collect and analyze data to track performance metrics.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans.
• Coordinate staff response during emergencies.
• Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff.
• Encourage professional development and career advancement.
