Healthcare IT System Specialist

About the Job:

A leading company is looking for a Healthcare IT System Specialist to join our team! You will play a key role in delivering technical services and ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and support of healthcare IT systems for our clients in both government and private sectors.

Responsibilities:

1. System Implementation & Project Involvement:

Gather and analyze technical requirements from stakeholders.
Support project planning, including evaluating hardware, software, and network solutions.
Design, implement, and configure healthcare IT systems while ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
Oversee system installation, testing, quality assurance, and go-live processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application specialists and project managers.

2. Technical Support & Maintenance:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.
Monitor system performance, optimize resources, and conduct preventive maintenance (PPM).
Perform root cause analysis for system errors and implement corrective actions.
Handle support tickets within agreed SLAs, ensuring successful resolution.
Work closely with vendors and support teams to resolve hardware/software issues.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in healthcare IT system implementation & support or a relevant IT field.
Hands-on experience with server installations, MS Server OS, VMware/Hyper-V, RAID, SAN, NAS storage configurations.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL Developer, HL7 Integration, DICOM configuration, and data migration.
Experience in network configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with hospital information systems such as RIS, PACS, LIS, HIS, DMS is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Professional certifications are a plus (CCNA, ITIL, MSSA, PMP).
