Health Safety Environment Supervisor

Red Sea Gateway Terminal is hiring for HSE Supervisor, located in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure that the company’s HSE policies and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to across all company operations.
2. Identify potential hazards and risks associated with company activities and implement appropriate control measures.
3. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of company facilities, equipment, and operations to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
5. Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees and contractors to raise awareness and ensure competency in safe work practices.
6. Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
7. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, incidents, and training activities.
8. Prepare regular HSE reports for management.
9. Foster a positive safety culture within the organization through communication, engagement, and recognition programs.
10. Communicate and coordinate with port authorities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders on HSE matters.
11. Provide guidance and supervision to HSE officers and assistants.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification in occupational health and safety.
3. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
4. Familiarity with local and international HSE regulations relevant to port operations.
