Head Nurse Cardiac Care Unit (Head Nurse CCU)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• 7 years of experience in the same field and 3 years of experience in the same position as Head Nurse CCU.
• Master's degree in nursing holder.
• Dataflow is a must.
• Saudi license holder is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care for critical cardiac conditions.
• Managing a team of nurses and working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide specialized care in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Recruiting, hiring, and training nursing staff with specialized skills in cardiac critical care.
• Assigning duties and responsibilities to staff based on their qualifications and experience.
• Evaluating staff performance and providing feedback and coaching.
• Addressing staffing shortages and ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Ensuring that patients receive timely, appropriate, and compassionate care.
• Supervising the nursing staff in providing complex interventions, such as mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and medication administration.
• Coordinating patient care plans and collaborating with physicians and other specialists.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the CCU.
• Managing the CCU budget and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Overseeing the maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
• Coordinating with other departments within the healthcare facility to ensure smooth operations.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in patient care and implementing quality initiatives.
• Analyzing patient satisfaction data and addressing any concerns.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to the nursing staff.
• Fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
• Representing the CCU in meetings and committees.
