Job description

A newly established Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) financing company , backed by a leading Saudi bank , is seeking a Head of SME & Micro Business Sales to drive market expansion, build strategic partnerships, and manage high-value client relationships. This role is critical in establishing and leading the company’s sales strategy, ensuring strong pipeline management and successful deal closures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive SME and micro business financing growth.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of leads , ensuring high conversion rates and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with business owners, corporate clients, and financial partners .
  • Lead client acquisition, negotiations, and deal structuring , ensuring successful financing agreements.
  • Identify new market opportunities and design tailored financing solutions for SMEs and micro businesses.
  • Drive the development of strategic partnerships with banks, fintech firms, and business networks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams , including risk, compliance, and product development, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to refine sales strategies.

Requirements

Mandatory :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field .
  • 10+ years of experience in SME or micro business sales within banks, financial institutions, or financing companies .
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and successfully closing financing deals .
  • Extensive network and strong relationships within SME and business sectors .
  • Ability to craft and execute strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English .

Preferred :

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance .
  • Experience in digital lending, fintech partnerships, or alternative finance solutions .
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi financial regulations and SME financing frameworks .
  • Take a leadership role in shaping the sales strategy of a newly established financing company.
  • Work in a fast-growing sector with the backing of a major Saudi bank .
