As a faith-based institution, we are seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead our technology initiatives and support our mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an IT strategy that aligns with our vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

• Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement an IT strategy focused on cost-effectiveness, innovation, and security.
• Advise senior leadership on technology investments and roadmap planning.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly AI and their relevance to our educational and operational needs.
• IT Infrastructure & Operations
• Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
• Direct disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Educational Technology & Support
• Lead the integration of digital learning platforms to enhance faculty and student engagement.
• Collaborate with faculty to incorporate AI tools and resources.
• Provide IT support and training to faculty, staff, and students.
• Project Management & Implementation
• Manage IT-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate with departments to implement systems improving administrative efficiency.
• Oversee third-party vendors and consultants for project execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop an IT team.
• Budget Management
• Develop and manage the IT Department's budget.
• Pursue cost-effective solutions, including open-source software and cloud services.
• Explore grant opportunities or partnerships to fund technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, along with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in IT management, preferably in the education sector. They should possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in cloud platforms and AI-based tools.

This is a full-time position based on campus, with occasional evening or weekend work required. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
