Head of Information Technology

Responsibilities:
His responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware and software solutions to meet business objectives.
2. Manage and maintain computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
4. Ensure data security and privacy by implementing proper backup and recovery procedures, and managing user access to systems and data.
5. Monitor system performance and provide regular reports and analysis to management.
6. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.
7. Provide technical support to end-users and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
8. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the IT field.

Job Requirements:
The post holder will have the following background:

1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA A+, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
3. Skills:

• Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows and Linux.
• Understanding of database systems, such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

• 15+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise network environments.
• Experience in implementing robust cybersecurity protocols to protect enterprise assets.
• Exposure to emerging technologies like AI/ML, blockchain, and smart contracts.
