Head of Finance

Our Client : A leading retail group in the Middle East, is looking to hire a results-driven Head of Finance to lead the financial strategy and operation based in KSA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all finance functions including FP&A, accounting, compliance, taxation, budgeting, audit, and treasury.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models aligned with business goals.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports including P&L reviews, variance analysis, and working capital tracking.
• Ensure full compliance with SOCPA and IFRS standards, and establish strong internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to support decision-making and cost optimization.
• Monitor financial KPIs such as gross margins, cost ratios, store/category performance, and inventory metrics.
• Lead ERP and reporting automation initiatives using tools like SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of ownership, accuracy, and accountability.
• Manage external stakeholders including auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
• Minimum 14+ years of finance leadership experience in the retail sector.
• Exposure to the Saudi market is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, compliance, controls, and commercial finance.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and ERP/tech-savvy mindset.
