As Head of E-Commerce, you will lead the company's digital commerce strategy and operations, driving online revenue growth through our portfolio of e-commerce sites. You will also manage P&L responsibilities and work cross-functionally to expand our commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall financial performance of the company's e-commerce platforms, including revenue targets, margins, and productivity metrics. Optimize the conversion funnel through data-driven initiatives.
- Develop strategies to expand our business into new categories and verticals online. Align capabilities across departments to execute horizontal and vertical growth plans.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and continuously enhance the customer experience on our sites. Drive logistics and fulfillment efficiencies to improve order delivery and increase repeat purchases.
- Partner with marketing to refine our digital acquisition, retention and re-engagement programs. Leverage analytics to understand customer journeys and refine campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with IT to evolve our frontend functionality and backend systems. Ensure customer paths are optimized on site through usability testing and analytics insights.
- Build a advanced analytics and business intelligence function. Employ data to understand trends, identify opportunities and guide strategic and tactical decisions.
- Interface regularly with merchandising, pricing, and sourcing functions. Advise on assortment, pricing strategies, product life cycles, and inventory management online.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience leading P&L for a major ecommerce business or omnichannel retailer, with a proven track record of online revenue growth.
- Deep expertise in e-commerce operations, including categories, merchandising, marketing, logistics, and technology systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills to motivate virtual/remote teams and influence cross-functional partners.
- Advanced technological literacy with expertise in analytics, BI tools, AdTech/MarTech platforms, and e-commerce systems.
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to quickly understand market dynamics and pivot strategies accordingly.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
- Fluent in English and Arabic preferred.
