Head Nurse For Out Patient Department (OPD Head Nurse)

Job Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in the same field and 3 years of experience in the same position as Head Nurse OPD.
• Dataflow is a must.
• Saudi license holder is a plus.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Manage a team of nurses and work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide efficient and compassionate care to patients seeking outpatient services.
• Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff.
• Assign duties and responsibilities to staff based on their skills and qualifications.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• Address staffing shortages and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Ensure that patients receive timely, appropriate, and compassionate care.
• Supervise the nursing staff in providing patient assessments, treatments, and education.
• Coordinate patient appointments and procedures.
• Monitor patient outcomes and quality of care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the OPD.
• Manage the OPD budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Oversee the maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with other departments within the healthcare facility to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and implement quality initiatives.
• Analyze patient satisfaction data and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing staff.
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Represent the OPD in meetings and committees.
