Job description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- 10 years of experience in the same field and 3 years experience in the same position as Head Nurse ECU.
- Master’s degree in nursing holder.
- Dataflow is a must.
- Saudi license holder is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
Job description and responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff in the Extended Care Unit.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients.
- Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.
- Conduct staff evaluations and provide feedback for performance improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with medication protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Handle patient and family concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in extended care nursing.
- Ensure proper documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in the Extended Care Unit.
- Monitor patient progress, update care plans as needed, and ensure continuity of care.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards of care.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing personnel.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and schedule appropriate coverage.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the quality of care and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current on industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate continuing education opportunities for nursing team members.
