The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that align with the culinary academy's strategic goals, effectively communicating its mission and vision. This role involves producing high-quality print and digital marketing materials, maintaining brand consistency, and collaborating with team members to enhance the academy's visual identity and engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design Marketing Collateral: Develop visually engaging marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, and banners to promote the academy's programs and initiatives.
2. Digital Media Design: Create captivating graphics for our website, social media platforms, email campaigns, and online advertisements to attract and engage our target audience.
3. Brand Management: Ensure consistent adherence to the academy's brand guidelines across all design materials to maintain a professional and cohesive image.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and other team members to synchronize visual content with marketing and communication strategies.
5. Event Support: Design materials for culinary events, workshops, and other academy-related activities to enhance the overall experience and promote our culinary education programs.
6. Illustration and Photography: Produce original illustrations and edit photographs as required to enhance visual content.
7. Storytelling through Design: Develop visuals that effectively convey the academy's message, vision, and mission to resonate with the target audience.
8. Feedback and Improvement: Actively seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to continually improve the quality of design work and its alignment with the academy's goals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
2. Demonstrated experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the non-profit or educational sector.
3. Passion in photography.
4. Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Visme, etc.
5. Strong creative and artistic abilities with a keen eye for detail in the field of culinary arts and cultural heritage.
6. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a diverse team.
7. Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
8. A comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous design work and alignment with the academy's mission.
9. A genuine appreciation for culinary arts and an understanding of the food industry are preferred.
