Responsibilities:

  • Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards
  • Maintain and repair all site instrument plant equipment.
  • Maintain all instrumentation equipment as per international Standard.
  • Build, review, and implement instrumentation maintenance strategy
  • Overhaul and repair process equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose faults and conduct repairs on instrumentation plant equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all machinery.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize plant equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
  • Provide maintenance supervision and ensure the job is executed safely for the team.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician, preferably with a specialization in PLC and metering equipment
  • Must have a degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation types of equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to supervise and advise the team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical fitting

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an instrumentation technician with a specialization in PLC (minimum 1 year of relevant experience).
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and repair techniques.
  • Experience in overhauling and repairing plant equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with tools and equipment used in PLC maintenance and repair.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certification or trade qualification in Instrumentation and Electrical.
