WSP Middle East are seeking a motivated Graduate or Junior Engineer - KSA National to join our Building Technical Systems (BTS) team in Riyadh, KSA.

This role will involve assisting in the design and implementation of integrated technical security systems, including Video Surveillance Systems, Access Control Alarm Systems, Intrusion Detection, Security Intercommunication Systems, and Physical Security Systems.

Your new role, what's involved:

1. Assist in designing and implementing integrated technical security systems to meet high standards of quality.
2. Learn and apply local authority guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.
3. Support the team in consulting with clients to understand their operational security requirements.
4. Gain knowledge of security risk assessments and incorporate findings into system design.
5. Help input technical requirements into security strategy reports.
6. Understand project scope, deliverables, and timelines; support project management activities.
7. Contribute to the preparation of technical security design packages, including design schematics, typical details, and device placement layouts.
8. Assist in coordinating with different disciplines from concept through to tender design stages.
9. Work with local authority departments, as needed, to obtain necessary project approvals.
10. Participate in field surveys and audits to gather necessary data for project development.
11. Collaborate with engineers and BIM teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
12. Assist in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
13. Support construction administration activities, including supervising construction work.
14. Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems and project lifecycle processes.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Basic understanding of security systems and technical design principles.
3. Strong interest in learning about local authority guidelines and security risk assessments.
4. Good communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently.
6. Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
7. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM) is advantageous.
