Job Title: Government Sales Supervisor

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Achieve lead generation and contract closure targets by effectively supervising the sales process.
  2. Ensure sales pipeline growth by training, supporting, and monitoring the performance of the government sales team.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with government decision-makers to enhance business opportunities.
  4. Successfully negotiate and close contracts with government agencies while ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
  5. Analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and drive continuous improvement.

Major Activities:

  1. Oversee and guide the sales team in lead generation, qualification, and follow-ups to ensure a consistent and healthy sales pipeline.
  2. Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance evaluations for Sales Specialists to enhance their skills and ensure alignment with sales objectives.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with government decision-makers through frequent meetings, proactive communication, and tailored solutions.
  4. Lead negotiations with government agencies by preparing Financial and Technical proposals, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and securing favorable contract terms.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales performance data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and improve sales outcomes.
  6. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s objectives and market trends.
  7. Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities, contracts, and customer interactions for reporting and compliance purposes.
  8. Analyze potential government tenders, summarize key details, and provide insights to the department head for informed decision-making.
  9. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of required equipment for government sales contracts.

  • The job holder has the authority to ensure adherence or suggest an improvement to policies and procedures within the sales team.
  • The job holder has the authority to uphold and enforce customer confidentiality standards in all sales operations.
  • The job holder has the authority to identify, evaluate, and nominate participation in government tenders, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • The job holder has the authority to coordinate and communicate with relevant departments to facilitate and support the sales process.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in ALJM, preferably in sales.
  • Advanced knowledge in the Government procurement process.

Job-Specific Skills:

Strong leadership and management skills.

Languages:

English - Arabic.

Special Certifications / Membership:

Project management professional credential.
