Responsibilities:
Responsible for security hardening of Linux based systems for our network security products. Expected to have a strong command over Linux distro and kernel security options and their configurations for different scenarios. Knowledgeable on network security concepts and have a deep understanding of networking protocols from a security perspective.

This role is a combination of advisor, security design, and hands-on implementation. Acts as a bridge between customers and product development team. Assists the development team in defining the scenarios, distro hardening, kernel hardening, security configuration, patching automation, and so on.
