GIS I&C Team Lead

The GIS I&C Team Lead is responsible for leading a young and experienced GIS field services team. Key responsibilities include managing daily site activities, ensuring expert and timely execution of orders related to new assembly, malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and commissioning. The role contributes to the successful completion of projects by meeting scheduling, cost, and material objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in site meetings as required by various site organizations.
2. Review reports, correct mistakes, and highlight issues for the project team to avoid future errors.
3. Ensure the closure of hazards in your area whenever applicable.
4. Coach and monitor the team, ensuring the competency matrix is updated.
5. Drive results towards organizational targets by having enough certified supervisors to lead as per HE standards.
6. Support and raise the competency of team members from safety and technical perspectives.
7. Plan and monitor team utilization in projects.
8. Maintain solid communication with your team to understand their needs and guide them.
9. Enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the GIS supervisors’ team through regular site visits and monitoring their progress and quality of work.
10. Collaborate to maintain understanding between PMs and Site Installation Supervisors to reduce misunderstandings when approaching customers.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
2. 8+ years of experience in GIS preferred.
3. GIS certification is a must.
4. Strong knowledge of SF6 GAS-Handling.
5. PGHV Transmission and Sub-transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.
6. Proficiency in MS Project.
7. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
