General Manager - Human Resources & Administration

Location:Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Experience: Minimum 12 years of HR management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred

Languages: Bilingual in English and Arabic

About the Role

The General Manager - Human Resources & Administration will spearhead the HR and administrative functions, aligning them with the organization's strategic goals. This leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing policies, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. The role is critical in shaping the talent strategy, fostering a productive work environment, and driving initiatives that support organizational growth and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational objectives related to staffing, recruitment, and employee retention.
  • Design and implement HR policies, training programs, and initiatives to support compliance and strategic goals.
  • Oversee HR programs, including compensation, benefits, performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Identify staffing and recruitment needs and develop best practices for talent acquisition and management.
  • Analyse organizational trends and HR metrics, utilizing insights to optimize processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, updating policies as required.
  • Manage departmental budgets and oversee the professional development of HR staff.
  • Cultivate strong connections with both office and field employees to enhance engagement and morale.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends, best practices, and new technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the HR strategy.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in analysing and solving complex problems with sound decision-making.
  • Effective leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to adapt to diverse needs.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
