Job description

Position Objectives:

  • The experienced and strategic advisor provides expert counsel and support to the General Manager.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the fiber optics industry, with a proven track record in commercial channel development, product management, and regulatory affairs.
  • This role requires exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and drive results.
  • The Advisor will play a critical role in shaping the organization's overall strategy and ensuring its successful execution.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on commercial channels, product development, market expansion, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop and recommend strategic options to the General Manager.
  • Advise on commercial channel strategies to drive sales growth and market penetration.
  • Evaluate and improve the performance of existing channels and recommend new partners and alliances.
  • Guide the product roadmap and portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
  • Analyze product performance data and recommend enhancements or new developments.
  • Advise on product pricing, packaging, and marketing strategies.
  • Develop market strategies to expand the company's reach and customer base.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance.
  • Represent the company before regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Monitor organizational performance against KPIs and strategic goals.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to the General Manager.
  • Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MSc or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 20 years of experience (typically 10+ years) in a senior management or advisory role within the telecommunications or fiber optics industry.
  • Deep understanding of commercial channel development, product management, and regulatory affairs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and drive results.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or fiber optic domain is highly desirable.
