If so, we invite you to join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Media, Entertainment, Games & Sports Industry Specialist Solutions Architecture Team, where you’ll help our customers and partners innovate and succeed in the cloud.
Computer Games live at the intersection of technology and the arts, and with more than 2.5 billion people playing games every day, there’s never been a more exciting time to make games. This role is to empower developers to create incredible, engaging, and successful games.
We are seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect with deep expertise in game backend frameworks, game servers, and networking. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical architectures that power multiplayer and live-service games, including backend infrastructure, server orchestration, and networking protocols. Your experience navigating these systems will enable you to provide strategic technical guidance to customers and partners, ensuring successful deployment and operation of game technologies on AWS.
As a Solutions Architect, you will own the technical relationship with AWS GameTech customers, providing expert guidance on security, cost optimisation, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. By working backwards from their business needs, you’ll offer strategic advice to help them unlock business value through technology. This role involves close collaboration with business development, account management, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem.
You’ll have the opportunity to apply your creativity, connecting innovative technologies to practical solutions while showcasing the possibilities AWS can deliver in a dynamic and ever-changing market.
The ideal candidate will be based in Saudi Arabia, possess extensive experience in the Computer Games industry, and demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively with C-level executives. They should also excel in influencing decisions and showcasing strong thought leadership skills.
