Seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst who will play a key role in drafting business requirements across various verticals, preparing RFPs, and supporting major business initiatives through comprehensive business case development and updates. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a solid understanding of IT systems, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Drafting:
Collaborate with multiple business units to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
Ensure that requirements align with organizational objectives and are easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - RFP Preparation:
Lead the development and management of Request for Proposals (RFPs) across various business initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to define scope, deliverables, timelines, and vendor evaluation criteria. - Business Case Development:
Prepare and update business cases for major projects and initiatives, providing clear financial and operational justifications.
Present the business case to leadership teams, outlining potential ROI, risks, and strategic fit. - Process Analysis and Documentation:
Collaborate with business units to understand current processes and identify pain points.
Develop detailed process maps and documentation using relevant tools (e.g., BPM, Visio).
Analyze business data to identify areas for process improvement, leading initiatives that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Submit recommendations for process optimization and ensure proper implementation. - Project Support:
Participate in various phases of IT project implementation, providing guidance on process requirements and ensuring alignment with business needs.
Ensure that project outcomes align with business objectives and deliver value.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5 + years of hands-on experience in business analysis, process improvement, or similar roles within IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and technologies, with the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
- Proficiency in business process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, BPM software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with change management principles and methodologies.
- Lean Six Sigma, BPM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience preparing detailed RFPs and working with vendors during the evaluation process.
- Ability to design future-state processes and strategies that align with business value objectives.
Reporting Structure:
This role will report to Director-IT PMO and work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance.
