Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between THC and AEC for operations and maintenance of simulators.
- Act as the main contact for THC in dealings with GACA to obtain and maintain certifications.
- Collaborate closely with OEMs (Leonardo & Airbus) to ascertain and meet THC's simulator maintenance needs.
- Oversee simulators from installation through ongoing maintenance phases, in conjunction with AEC facility providers.
- Establish Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) plans, contractual agreements, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with AEC, including arrangements for nighttime maintenance activities.
- Develop, maintain, and implement all pertinent simulator Maintenance manuals in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure the timely and efficient maintenance and repair of all flight simulators and training devices.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for simulator maintenance and operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and guidelines related to simulator maintenance and Technical Operations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for simulator maintenance personnel.
Leadership:
- Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance, coaching or training to direct reports in performing their delegated duties.
- Optimize the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of trends in the market and provide advice to leadership on potential initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Aviation Technology, or a related field, or equivalent.
Experience & Skills:
- 5 years of experience in simulator maintenance or related experience.
- In-depth knowledge of flight simulators, training devices, and maintenance best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
