About the location:

Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

The Role of Floral Design Manager:

We currently have an opportunity for a Floral Design Manager to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, as a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements and installations for various occasions and events. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a key role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our floral designs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and creating unique floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral installations based on client preferences and event themes.
  2. Selecting appropriate flowers, greenery, and decorative accessories to achieve desired aesthetic and quality.
  3. Arranging flowers in vases, containers, or other display materials using artistic techniques such as clustering, layering, and balance.
  4. Ensuring floral arrangements are prepared and delivered on time for events, weddings, corporate functions, and other occasions.
  5. Collaborating with clients, event planners, and colleagues to understand design requirements and preferences.
  6. Maintaining proper care and handling of flowers, including trimming, conditioning, and preserving their freshness.
  7. Managing inventory of floral supplies, tools, and accessories; ordering replenishments as needed.
  8. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the floral design workspace.
  9. Providing excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, suggesting floral options, and accommodating special requests.

Our Ideal Floral Design Manager candidate will have:

  1. Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing creativity and design skills.
  2. In-depth knowledge of various types of flowers, plants, and foliage, including seasonal availability and care requirements.
  3. Strong artistic and design skills, with a keen eye for color, texture, and composition.
  4. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  6. Detail-oriented and organized, with a passion for delivering high-quality floral designs.
  7. Knowledge of floral design trends, styles, and techniques.
  8. May require occasional weekend, evening, or holiday work depending on event schedules.

Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
