ROLE OVERVIEW
To lead and oversee the development of thorough project business cases and feasibility studies, as well as modeling tools, templates, functions, model flexibility, project finance methods, and project financial structures, in order to guarantee alignment with the Magna’s objectives and aims.
REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES
Financial Manager responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Policies & Procedures
- Support the Asset list of the MAGNA following NEOM policies, procedures and processes
- Manages Cost Database reporting and change management following ETSD cost Policy and Procedures
- Support with the Department procurement
Business Strategies
- Assist in the development of the department’s annual business plan, KPIs, budget, and policies and procedures
- Gather all the data needed from other managers, from past projects, or from the resources directly in order to use data in the studies
- Assist in the production of business case presentations that include financial results and recommendations to leadership
- Board reporting as required
Document Auditing and logs
- Ensures adequate document records are retained and audit and performance management mechanisms are in place
- Arrange proper documentation flow and control
- Keeps the log of changes to the Asset list, Cost database, Business cases, and another commercial workstream if required
Commercial
- Coordinate with the Development & Asset Management department to develop a high-level and thorough project business case and feasibility assessment
- Develop modeling tools, templates, and features that capture model flexibility and other real estate study requirements
- Assess the feasibility of new projects through market and asset evaluation to ensure strategic and financial fit
- Ensure the development of high-level and detailed feasibility studies and financial models for all project opportunities
- Provide input regarding modeling techniques, assumptions, and inputs
- Coordinate the submission of the Business case to the internal stakeholders. Conduct the presentation and close out the comments from the stakeholders
Stakeholders Management
- Gather inputs (e.g., costing and scheduling from the Delivery department, project financing from the Project Financial Structuring division) and align on the project financial feasibility study approach, assessment, and outcome, coordinate with the Development & Asset Management, Design & Delivery, and Commercial Departments
- Monitor project delivery and operations with relevant parties for possible updates to project business plans and financial feasibilities, and indicate any differences that have a major influence on project financial performance

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Financial feasibility
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software)
- Planning and organization
- Problem-solving
- Strong oral and written communications
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to connect with people to drive successful relationships
- A demonstrable track record of working at the highest standards and delivering outstanding results
- Ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, management team and external partners/ advisors through collaboration & teamwork in a non-hierarchical relationship framework
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Feasibility & Business Case, or any other related field
