We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with strong Real Estate Development experience to be based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

JOB OVERVIEW

To provide and be responsible for a comprehensive, high quality, efficient and effective Finance service, including but not limited to budgeting, bookkeeping, orders/invoices, credit control, financial forecasting, and reporting to Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the accounting, purchasing, technology, risk management and asset management functions and take the lead on high-level strategic business initiatives.
2. Assure appropriate financial systems, processes, controls and personnel are in place to successfully support the business, maximize opportunities and manage risk.
3. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes including developing financial targets.
4. Manage planning and forecasting processes, define deliverables, timing, processes.
5. Develop and implement financial forecasting models to predict operating results.
6. Review month-end reporting for the Development and Construction divisions, reporting by project for actual spend with forecast to complete against budget.
7. Review month-end balance sheet reconciliations for WIP.
8. Interact with project managers, estimators and planners to understand the projects plans and provide necessary inputs for projects reports preparation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. At least 10 years experience overall as Finance Manager.
2. At least 5 years experience as Finance Manager in a company dealing in real estate development sector.
3. Experience in multi-cultural, corporate, ERP environment.
4. Certified Public Accountant essential.
5. Certified Management Accountant preferred.
6. Experience in Companies operating in Real Estate and Construction sector.
7. Open to Saudi nationals (and very strong Arabic nationals who have UAE market experience).

KEY SKILLS

1. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
2. Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles.
3. Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
4. Knowledge and experience of related computer applications.
5. Highly detail oriented and organized in work.
6. Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
8. Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
9. Have a detailed understanding of inventory control / management systems and ERP.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to deal tactfully with sensitive and confidential information.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary to be used as a guideline only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance. As a guideline between 25k – 35k SAR per month / $80k-112k USD per annum base salary. In addition, benefits, accommodation and transport allowance and more.
