We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with strong Real Estate Development experience to be based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
JOB OVERVIEW
To provide and be responsible for a comprehensive, high quality, efficient and effective Finance service, including but not limited to budgeting, bookkeeping, orders/invoices, credit control, financial forecasting, and reporting to Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the accounting, purchasing, technology, risk management and asset management functions and take the lead on high-level strategic business initiatives.
- Assure appropriate financial systems, processes, controls and personnel are in place to successfully support the business, maximize opportunities and manage risk.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes including developing financial targets.
- Manage planning and forecasting processes, define deliverables, timing, processes.
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models to predict operating results.
- Review month-end reporting for the Development and Construction divisions, reporting by project for actual spend with forecast to complete against budget.
- Review month-end balance sheet reconciliations for WIP.
- Interact with project managers, estimators and planners to understand the projects plans and provide necessary inputs for projects reports preparation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- At least 10 years experience overall as Finance Manager.
- At least 5 years experience as Finance Manager in a company dealing in real estate development sector.
- Experience in multi-cultural, corporate, ERP environment.
- Certified Public Accountant essential.
- Certified Management Accountant preferred.
- Experience in Companies operating in Real Estate and Construction sector.
- Open to Saudi nationals (and very strong Arabic nationals who have UAE market experience).
KEY SKILLS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Knowledge and experience of related computer applications.
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work.
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
- Have a detailed understanding of inventory control / management systems and ERP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal tactfully with sensitive and confidential information.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary to be used as a guideline only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance. As a guideline between 25k – 35k SAR per month / $80k-112k USD per annum base salary. In addition, benefits, accommodation and transport allowance and more.
