Job description
The MIS Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing financial data, systems, and processes within MBC finance function. Your responsibilities will include utilizing technical skills, optimizing financial workflows, and ensuring accurate reporting. Here are the key aspects of this role:
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Process Optimization:
Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and workflows and propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Work closely with finance teams in different locations on aligning, unifying, and optimizing processes.
Document user procedures and processes.
Manage ad-hoc projects independently when needed.
Oracle Fusion ERP Expertise:
Be the link between the different finance teams from one side and the technical ERP team on the other side to accelerate projects and improvements related to the finance function in the group.
Collaborate with finance and ERP departments to understand requirements, propose solutions, and support ERP team to configure or develop functionalities, and manage testing processes in finance.
Be the initial point of contact for resolving Oracle related issues in finance department.
Power BI Skills:
Utilize Power BI for data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence and create interactive dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Design semantic models from scratch and from sparse data points to use as a basis for data visualization.
Collaborate with stakeholders from finance department and the business planners across the group to identify KPIs and design relevant reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or information systems.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, Oracle-specific certifications or Power BI (or similar BI platforms) are advantageous.
Experience and familiarity in Oracle cloud ERP solutions.
Analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Results oriented.
Technical knowledge in data analysis (such as: databases, SQL, Python) is advantageous.
