Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day financial activities, ensuring timely closing and accurate reporting.
2. Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
3. Develop and monitor the annual budget and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations to senior management.
4. Monitor the company’s cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
5. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that support decision-making and business growth.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements. Oversee the preparation of tax filings.
7. Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion, and address audit queries or findings.
8. Supervise, mentor, and support the Finance team in their roles, to achieve operational excellence.
9. Collaborate with other departments, senior management, and build relationships with relevant stakeholders.
10. Identify opportunities for improving financial processes, enhancing efficiency, and implementing best practices within the finance department.
11. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in accounting and finance management.
3. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
4. Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
5. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
