We are looking for a Field Trainer to be responsible for planning and delivering both new and ongoing training on KONE methodologies to field operatives.


This role also involves proactively preparing operatives for upcoming product and service changes that affect methods and tools.


The Field Trainer works closely with business and function stakeholders, supervisors, and troubleshooters to identify the competence development needs of the workforce. Based on these insights, they design, adapt, and localize technical training programs for various target groups and play a key role in enabling field operatives to meet KONE's safety and quality standards, exceed customer expectations, and achieve productivity targets.


What will you do?


Training Delivery


• Train proactively and coach field operatives in the Training Center and/or on site
• Conduct trainings to develop the competences of non-technical people who need to understand technical topics in their work
• Seek and experiment with new learning methods in the trainings


Training Planning and Recording:


• Participate in the training planning and training catalogue creation
• Maintain training records (participants, results, materials) updated in konelearning.com


Localization of Technical Documents and Training Materials:


• Localize global instructions and training content to match local needs (incl. translation, proof-reading)
• Maintain and proof-read the translation of Containment and Retrofit letters and product-related documentation (AM, AS, ASG)


Communication:


• Ensure changes to codes, methods, products, and training materials are communicated to the Field operatives and part-time Field Trainers.
• Take part in field reference groups to gather and share information


Safety and Assessment:


• Be a role model for safety
• Participate in incident or severe near miss investigations together with the Safety Manager
• Observe risky methods in use and act accordingly to remove the risk
• Observe and evaluate safety and method passport assessments


Are you the one?


  • Bachelor or Diploma degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • 3 - 5 years experience in Installation, Field support in elevator & escalator industry.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation.

  • Strong user of MS Office.

  • Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic language skills.
