Rolls-Royce Saudi Arabia Limited (RRSAL) is providing a support service to the Royal Saudi Air Force for its fleet of Typhoon Aircraft Eurojet EJ200 engines. You will be part of a team delivering a propulsion system availability service and will be involved in all aspects of engine repair and servicing at both O and I maintenance levels. The role will be based in the Typhoon Propulsion Support Facility (TPSF) located on King Fahad Air Base (KFAB), Taif and will require travel and rotational deployments to support operations at other bases in country.
Job Description:
To support both forward line and in-workshop Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), Maintenance and Repair activities in accordance with the published approved technical documentation. Expected to work under the direction of local supervisory structure, with technical guidance provided by an experienced FSR.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform forward line and in-workshop Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), Maintenance and Repair activities in accordance with the published approved technical documentation.
- Carry out technical inspections to provide data as an input to Technical Queries and In-Service Concession requests.
- Based on use of Maintenance Instructions, provide feedback on any opportunities for improvement.
- Support FSR's in carrying out Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) troubleshooting, Fault Isolation techniques and rectification activities.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the applicable Maintenance Procedures, Rolls-Royce Quality System, Regulatory Authority advice and HS&E policies.
- Ensure that the Supervisory structure is kept informed and briefed on the progress of all Maintenance tasks, escalate issues requiring additional support or clarification.
- Support improvement initiatives and activities.
- Share knowledge with peers and provide on-the-job training to new recruits and personnel undergoing training.
Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma in a related Engineering discipline.
- Formal education may be compensated by evidence of technical competence gained through experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aero Gas Turbine Engines, Systems, Function, Support and Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Aviation Maintenance Regulatory requirements.
- Good Communication skills, both verbal and written in English language.
- IT skills and systems knowledge.
- Understanding of Customer Support principles.
- Positive work ethic, able to work under pressure either as an individual or as part of a team.
