Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Fiber Splicer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in splicing, terminating, and testing fiber optic cables. Knowledge of fiber optic systems, equipment, and tools is essential. The ability to read and understand fiber optic design plans and schematics for splicing and installation is required. Proficiency in fusion splicing and mechanical splicing techniques is preferred. The candidate must have a strong focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail to ensure the integrity and performance of fiber optic networks. Experience with fiber optic testing equipment and procedures, such as OTDR and power meters, is a plus. The ability to work efficiently and safely in various environments, including aerial and underground installations, is necessary. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are important. Certification in fiber optic splicing and experience with network troubleshooting are advantageous. A commitment to following safety protocols and industry standards is critical.
