Factory Director

The Client:

Our client is a leading FMCG brand with a strong presence in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an experienced Factory Director to lead their manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence.

The Role:

As the Factory Director, you will be at the helm of our client’s manufacturing strategy, overseeing end-to-end factory operations and ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and safety. This role is pivotal in driving production output, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

1. Oversee the entire factory operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
2. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
3. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
5. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and quality teams to align production goals with overall business objectives.
7. Manage factory budgets, control operational costs, and optimize resource allocation.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean manufacturing principles and industry best practices.
9. Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. 10+ years of experience in factory or manufacturing management within the FMCG industry.
2. Proven track record in leading large-scale manufacturing operations, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and motivating high-performance teams.
4. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supply chain management.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
7. Experience in implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
8. Results-driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
